IN THE SWIM

Kyle Main, one of Port Elizabeth’s best known long distance swimmers, will soon be attempting a 30 kilometre swim which will end at Hobie Beach opposite Brighton Lodge.   Kyle will be swimming from Sardinia Bay to Hobie Beach.   This swim is part of Kyle’s training program for his forthcoming attempt to be the fastest African across the English Channel.   Kyle’s channel swim takes place in September this year and he is aiming at a time of between 8 and 8½ hours.  Good luck Kyle!
