The 11 (eleven) luxury suites, are self-contained with separate entrances and private patios; all leading to the garden.

In-room Breakfast Basket

Breakfast is served in the privacy of ones own suite or our new dinning room in the guest house. Suites have walk-in access to a small secluded, high-walled, sunlit and florally marvellous patio – running water provides a soothing refrain.

Each room is equipped with wireless internet (Bring your laptop), kitchenette, bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, telephone, television, (M-Net) & DSTV, heated towel rails, alarm clock radio, hairdryer, tea & coffee facilities, ceiling fans, heaters, under floor heating and a safe.

Dining Room:

Guests can enjoy a full English Breakfast in our dining room between 7am – 9am (Weekends 7am – 10am)

The Lounge Area:

The guest lounge is open on a 24 hours basis. Guests can enjoy the sounds of the bird life and running water whilst having a relaxing cup of tea or coffee.

The Training / Conference Room:

Can accommodate 14 persons. TV, Overhead screen and flip chart provided. Other equipment can be hired on request. Can also be used for a breakfast room for large groups.

The Pool Area:

Relax by the pool. Let the tropical sound of the birds in the trees take you away on an exotic island. Guest Swimming Towels available on request.

• Laundry – Laundry facilities are available on request.
• Swimming Pool – Use of the swimming pool and its tranquil surroundings are available to all guests on a 24hour basis.
• Fax Services – Fax facilities are available on request.
• Internet and E-mail – Internet and e-mail facilities are available and all rooms are laptop compliant.
• First Aid & Medical – A First Aid box is available from the Main House. In case of an emergency, a medical surgery is available within one kilometre.
• Security – Gates are either controlled by Remote Control or by Security Codes. Brighton Lodge is equipped with Surveillance Cameras as well as Armed Response. It must be noted that Brighton Lodge is situated in a “low crime area”.
• Payment – All major credit cards are welcome.
• In room dining – For Guests who are too tired to go out or can’t face eating out alone in a restaurant, there is a small snack menu available (toasted sandwiches, salads…)
• Shopping Centre – The Summerstrand Village Shopping Complex, featuring Banking Facilities, Pick ‘n Pay Supermarket, a Pharmacy, CNA and other line shops, is within walking distance and is situated in 8th Avenue, Summerstrand.
• Shuttle Service to Airport – Transport to and from the airport is available on request .
• Sporting Facilities – The following are available within a 5km radius of Brighton Lodge :Surfing, sailing and all watersports; Deep sea and rock fishing; Bowls; Tennis and Golf
• General -
  • All outside lights and water features operate on time switches;
  • All suites are equipped with a Safe for valuables;
  • Most suites have Individual Electric Switchboards;
  • Smoke detectors are present in all rooms forming part of the main house;
  • Fire Extinguishers have been strategically placed indoors and outdoors;
  • The kitchen is insulated with fire resistant material in certain areas
